Minimum PC requirements

The store lists no recommended spec beyond "requires a 64-bit processor and operating system". Anything built in the last decade clears the minimum.

Steam Deck

The developer posted a Steam Deck report before launch, based on playing through the whole game on a Deck OLED:

• Locked 90 FPS on Deck OLED.
• Some text may be small. Lore Scrolls in the Inventory have a button that opens them full-screen.
• Resolution options are in the Options menu if it does not pick the right one on its own (the launch build was set to do this automatically).
• Steam and Xbox button prompts show automatically on Deck.
• There is a Headphones audio toggle.

On the badge: the developer expected Playable at launch, short of Verified because of default resolution and button glyphs, with a glyph update "in a couple of days". Valve's compatibility report for the game was still blank on October 1, so check the store page for the current badge. A Steam reviewer playing on Deck says it "works really great".

Settings worth knowing

• Controller problems are a Steam setting, not your PC. If inputs fire twice or Okko will not move, disable Steam Input for the game. Full steps in the controller fix.
• No mute when tabbed out. A Steam reviewer notes the audio keeps playing when the window loses focus.
• Rebinding. Keyboard and mouse controls are fully remappable, the developer says; on a controller only some buttons are (a reviewer could not move Focus and the potion toggle). The game is built in Unity.
• Autosave. The game saves every time you enter a stage and when you quit from the menu. There is no manual save button.
