Okko The Exiled Bosses: All 9 Fights in Order
Boss order and who has beaten them
The bar shows the share of Steam players who had each boss's achievement on October 1, the day after launch. It doubles as a difficulty curve: the big drops are where people stall.
- 1 Sabaoth Guardian · End of the first zone 33.2%
- 2 Asura the Devourer · Asura Lake 15.7%
- 3 Angra · Angra's Throne 9.4%
- 4 Ravana 6.8%
- 5 Indrac · Indrac Shrine 5.8%
- 6 Sabaoth 2.9%
- 7 The Blue Dawn 5.1%

Every boss, with tips and timestamps
Names are taken from the in-game boss bars as shown in the all-bosses video by TheSavchynGames. The timestamp links jump straight to each fight if you want to watch a pattern before trying it.
1. Sabaoth Guardian
The boss of the first zone, the same area the 2025 Steam demo covered. When it stomps a big object out of the ground, smaller ones pop up too: stomp those out yourself and launch them back at it for heavy damage, the developer's own tip. Dragon Break gives Okko a moment of invincibility, so fire it while it attacks. One in three launch-week players has beaten it.
2. Asura the Devourer
Fought at the end of Asura Lake. The Dragon Break meter fills faster when you take damage, so a rough first phase usually hands you a full blue bar: spend it with Down + Special Attack instead of saving it. A Beast Potion refills the meter instantly if you are carrying one.
3. Angra
The longest of the early fights in the reference run (about 7.5 minutes of footage). The dash is an ability you unlock along the way (one player reports right after the third boss); it works in mid-air and makes later platforming much kinder.
4. Ravana
Mid-game demon lord. Fewer than 7% of launch-week players had beaten it, so most people reading this are here for the first time too.
5. Indrac
Fought in Indrac Shrine. The achievement name Electrifying fits a lightning-themed lord, which is how we matched it to this fight.
6. Sabaoth
Fewer players have this achievement (2.9%) than the final boss one (4.9%), which suggests Sabaoth can be skipped on the way to the ending. Treat it as optional until the developer says otherwise.
7. The Blue Dawn
A short fight in the reference run, under three minutes. It comes right before the final sequence.
8. Yaldabaoth, Destroyer of Worlds
First form of Demon Lord Yalda. The achievement's internal name says beast Yalda, which matches this form.
9. Yaldabaoth, The Demiurge
Second and final form. Beating it rolls the ending. Bring a full Dragon Break bar into this phase.
* Hidden Steam achievements only expose an internal name such as defeat_boss_3. Where that name does not say which boss it is, we matched it by fight order and unlock rate.
Archy mini-bosses
Between the demon lords you will duel a family of "Archy" mini-bosses. They get their own health bar but no achievement.
| Mini-boss | Video | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Archyboar | 1:13 | Early mini-boss. A Chinese-language Steam review complains one stage ends on two identical boars instead of a demon lord. |
| Archycrab | 7:57 | — |
| Archytrickster | 8:49 | Returns three more times; the fourth duel is labelled the final fight. |
| Archytormentor | 16:20 | Shown on the Steam store screenshots with its own boss bar. |
| Archyvenus | 25:26 | — |
| Archytrickster (2nd) | 26:35 | — |
| Archytrickster (3rd) | 43:07 | — |
| Archytrickster (final) | 49:53 | — |
What works on every boss
- Heartbeat timing. With Focus Mode on, attack when the heartbeat timer sits at 12 o'clock for a critical hit. Timed hits also refill Heart Energy. See the combat guide.
- Dragon Break. The blue meter fills when you deal damage and fills faster when you take it. When it flashes, press Down + Special Attack. Upgrading it at the Mercenary Shop makes it hit much harder.
- Invincibility and refills. Okko is briefly invincible during Dragon Break, so you can fire it through an attack. A Beast Potion refills the blue meter on the spot; potions sit in a quick slot (hold the potion button, on Xbox LT, then press the face button shown).
- Hit projectiles back. Boss and enemy shots can be knocked back with a well-timed swing, normal or charged.
- Pacts. Two slots, swappable any time from the Inventory. A currency or death-penalty Pact softens repeated attempts; see how Pacts work.
- Leave with your currency. Dying costs a small slice of the gems you carry, so spend at The Old Throne before a boss you expect to retry. On stream, a death cost the player under 100 gems, less than they earned from the boss itself.
Boss questions
How many bosses are in Okko The Exiled?
Nine boss fights: Sabaoth Guardian, Asura the Devourer, Angra, Ravana, Indrac, Sabaoth, The Blue Dawn and the two forms of Yaldabaoth. On top of those there are eight duels with the Archy mini-bosses (Archyboar, Archycrab, Archytormentor, Archyvenus and four rounds with Archytrickster).
Who is the final boss of Okko The Exiled?
Demon Lord Yalda, fought as Yaldabaoth, Destroyer of Worlds and then Yaldabaoth, The Demiurge. Beating the second form ends the game and unlocks the Dreamer achievement.
Is Sabaoth optional?
Probably. Only 2.9% of players had the Sabaoth achievement on launch week, against 4.9% for the final boss, so some players reach the ending without fighting him. The developer has not said either way.
Why do bosses feel so spongey?
Plain attacks are weak on purpose. Turn on Focus Mode and attack when the heartbeat timer hits 12 o'clock: the developer says a timed Focus hit kills a basic Faun in one hit instead of four. Spend Dragon Break (Down + Special Attack) on every boss.
